Thursday competition starts Round 1 (18th Feb), All play is at Essendon. Midweek competition starts Round 2 (22nd Feb), Round 1 will be made up down the line, let's see how we go with lockdowns before tweek fixture.

There will not be Suppers at any venue this season given the change to the number of persons allowed to congregate together currently. Hopefully we will not have to make any other adjustments.

It is with great sadness that the North West Squash League farewells Ray Meadows.

The North West Squash League is greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Bryan Bird.

As you would be aware, the Victorian State Government recently announced that from 22 June 2020 all indoor sport and recreation activities venues may reopen with up to 20 people per space, and up to 10 people per group or activity at any one time. Squash and Racquetball Victoria (S&RV) has prepared a 'Return to Play Squash and Racquetball in a Covid-19 safe Environment Plan' which is detailed here. reference: squash victoria

Missing your squash and racquetball pals? Well so are we! Thanks to Karen Cagliarini for setting up an awesome way for us to stay connected as a community and have a bit of fun with it too - while fundraising for us all. First round (test run) is Tuesday, April 21st

In line with the latest and most current information regarding the spread of the Corona, the North West squash competitions will continue at least for the coming week except in the circumstance where a quarantine is issued or required. HOWEVER ..... in order to minimize social contact between players, there WILL NOT BE A SUPPER. THIS DECISION HAS BEEN MADE TO MINIMISE PERSON TO PERSON CONTACT AND TO AVOID FOOD HANDLING ISSUES.

New players and players who attended previous lectures prior to 1/1/16 need to attend one of these sessions. The venues and times for RAP lectures are as follows: Monday 14/10/19 - Grace Park Hawthorn Club 7.00 - 8.30pm; Thursday 17/10/19 - Mulgrave Country Club - 7.30 - 9.00pm; Monday 21/10/19 - Kooyong L.T.C. - 7.00 - 8.30pm; Thursday 24/10/19 - Melbourne University - 7.00 - 8.30pm

Th North West Squash League (NWSL) was well represents in the State 2019 Summer Competition. Players from NWSL Teams: Fitzpatrick (1), Fitzpatrick (2), Epping (1), and Focus GP (1). MVP State 2 - Glendon AND MVP State 3 Luca Zucchi.
